How to reach here?
Visit Jatayu Earth’s Center, which is in Jatayupara in the small village of Chadayamangalam by Train, road, or air.
Air: You can reach Trivandrum airport which is 52km from Chadayamangalam.
Train: The nearest railway stations are Kollam(35km) and Trivandrum(55 km).
Road: You can take a bus from Kollam to Ayoor, from Ayoor you can take an auto or taxi to reach Jatayu Earth’s Center. Or you can take a bus from Trivandrum to Chadayamangalam. Buses are not available 1-2km from the Jatayu Earth’s Center, so hire a car or auto to reach and return.

Jatayu is located in a small village called Chadayamangalam. It is the masterpiece of Mr.Rajiv Anchal, film director, screenwriter, and sculptor in Malayalam Cinema. This help’s the Kerala Tourism Department attract tourists to this Destination.

About Jatayu.
This Destination awaits for the tourists to recite some history, molded with Mythology, nature, hills, and adventure. It is believed that Jatayu, a demi-god of Hindu culture in the form of a vulture fought with Ravana to save goddess Sita and lost one of his wings, and fell in the small Kerala village of

Jatayu Earth Center has four hills.
Jatayu talks about history when humans and nature lived in oneness and cared for each other.
1) Jatayu Rock Hill:
The world’s largest 200 ft bird statue, a width of 150 ft and 70 ft in height stands majestic on a 1000 feet rock hill. This statue signifies women’s safety and honor. Inside the statue is an audio-video museum, and a multi-dimensional theatre, there is a Rama temple on the hill. It is surrounded by hills, greenery, and pleasant weather. You can find the monkey’s around the Rama temple. The weather changes often on the hill with showers. There is a tea stall that serves hot beverages with delicious bajji. This is a serene place to relax and take pictures. You have to reach this place by cable car which is another good experience.

2) Adventure rock hill
If you are an adventure lover, this is the best place to have a safe trekking and other activities like Rappelling, Archery, Zip-line, Rifle- shooting, Chimney climbing, valley crossing, log walking, Jummering, Bouldering, Commando net. This is available as a package from rs 1000 to rs 3500.
3) Elephant rock hill
This is the best place to go on a zip line with dining and camping with family with the campfire, live music, and live kitchen.
4)Kitchen rock hill
It is a herbal garden with accommodation facilities where you can find a helicopter service.
