About the Friendship Garden
Friendship Garden in Pune was inspired and built from a 300-year-old Japanese garden. This garden covers an area of 12 acres. This garden is in Sinhagad road which is 5 km from Pune railway station. You can reach here by bus, auto, taxi or scooter. This garden has a spacious parking area. There is also clean drinking water available. The entry fee for the garden is just Rs.5. This park is open in the morning and in the evening. During day time the park is closed. This is a must-visit park in Pune.

This park is very well maintained. You will have wooden hut houses to relax, and many ponds where water naturally comes from a canal. There are many bridges from where you can see the fish in the pond. Beautifully cropped plants all around the garden. There is a water fountain in the center of the park and also a small hill. And there is a Japanese hut on top of the hill from where you can see the view of the whole garden. This is one of the best parks to be visited in Pune. This is also the best place to spend a weekend visit for adults and children.
